Each of the nine holes has it own unique look and feel. The front nine is more open and flat, with smaller, flat greens. The back nine winds through a more rolling and wooded terrain. The greens on the back nine are larger than those on the front with more undulation. Both nines offer their own unique challenges. Golfers will find both nines a pleasure to play.
Lake James Golf Club offers four sets of tees. Each of the tees brings a new aspect of Lake James Golf Club to the forefront. You can play Lake James Golf Club from the Otter tees at 5200 yards, or you can take on the challenge of our Lake James tees that stretches that length out to a little over 6600 yards. Our other tees, Jimmerson and Snow, play at 6300 and 5500 yards respectively.
