                        The Inaugural Members Cup Matches took place last weekend, between us and Garrett Country Club. The first round was at LJGC, and the format was two man one best ball. Lake James came out on top , and took a twelve point lead going into the final round.  The singles matches where held on Sunday at Garrett Country Club. The Garrett team started out hot winning three of the first four matches, which cut our lead down to only five points. With eight matches left on the course it was still anyone's tournament. The final eight matches where very close, with team LJGC pulling most of them out by only a hole or two. The final result would find Lake James Golf Club winning the Members Cup by eighteen points, however it was much closer than that. I believe I speak for our entire team when I say that it was a great time. The Garrett players where great to play against, and the golf course was in great shape.
