The first hole is a great place to start your round off right.  This is a short par 5 that if played properly, can lead to a birdie.  The key is hitting a good drive just to the right of the fairway bunkers that are visible from the tee.  Big hitters may want to try a 3-wood off this tee because of a creek that is reachable if hit well.  The next shot can be a great risk reward where you could have anywhere from 3 wood to 7 or 8 iron into the green. If you miss the green on your second shot, try to get the ball into the flat approach area.  Green likes to work from left to right.
